Violet Oil Beetle

It's definitely spring - hayfever  :(

Technically, we were in the path of the partial eclipse, but I couldn't see or photograph it. It was just the usual ball of nuclear fire - too bright to notice a missing 20%. Usually, if there is a thing to see, the clouds cover the sky - today, that would have helped, so the sky was clear  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
