Diabolical
This is probably the first time I can recall seeing this type of juggling on the street. Although I have seen it on the TV many times I must confess that I have never seen it live, especially by, what looks to be a shoolboy.
The diabolo is a traditional Chinese performance prop and folk toy. The term "diabolo" was not taken from the Italian word for "devil"—"diavolo"—but was apparently coined by French engineer Gustave Phillippart, who developed the modern diabolo in the early twentieth century, and derived the name from the Greek dia bolo, roughly meaning 'across throw'.
Peculiarly the young lady in the foreground looks like she is doing a few steps from "Riverdance" although I can assure she was just walking through the scene.
