10 hours in the car

Laney is such a good travel dog! She slept in her dog bed from 8:30 am to 1 pm, out for a quick wee while we got gas, then more sleep from 1:30 to 6:30 pm. First thing she did when we got to our hotel room in Gallup, NM, was to jump back in her bed.
I didn’t sleep during the trip but I was strapped to a seat the whole time. First thing I did was stretch out on the bed with Laney.
It’s amazing how exhausting traveling can be!
