Sun seekers..

We took the train to Hastings and then the bus to Rye, a lovely coastal bus route. The sun was shining as we left home and the day held promise…

My word it was cold! The wind chill factor making the 14 degree promise more like 5. I felt so sorry for those who’d dressed for a beautiful day. Once home again It’s taken me all evening to defrost. However we don’t regret our day out. We’d planned it with a purpose in mind which wasn’t needed in the end but still took the opportunity for a day out.
