Mother

A surprise delivery yesterday of TEN bunches of daffodils! Son Jem is not able to visit today for Mothering Sunday, but a house full of daffodils is compensation. He and Mikki will be lunching with their sons. I think of my own mother today (extra), she died when I was only 27 and I wish i had known her longer. Thinking too of daughter Anna.
It is a glorious sunny day in Surrey, the doors are open letting in the fresh air. Maybe when I have finished cooking the Sunday lunch I will get out in the garden
