Bricks and mortar

It has served faithfully for 52 years without much maintenance in the brick department. However increasing temperatures through the use of smokeless fuel free meant that things started to warp and crack badly.

Therefore today we got bricks riipped out and new ones put in. A friend said I should buy the bricks and do it myself. Thankfully I decided to listen to my better judgement and what would have taken me undoubtedly several weeks took a professional about 6 hours to do.

Sometimes you just have to get the pros in to do certain things
