Protest

Extinction Rebellion blocked all traffic on the one road into Chambery airport. We were lucky arriving just a few minutes after they set up the road block, only had to walk a few metres and wait to be let through after being lectured & told we should have taken the train. Apparently it got a lot worse - no traffic in or out, people having to walk a long way in then trampling through fields with their cases to get into the airport. The police couldn’t break the human chain and helped by finding a route around it.
