Bars

Bar-headed geese, enjoying the sunshine and not in the least bothered by how near people get, in the Ornamental Gardens, Grange-Over-Sands. We'd never seen or heard of them before, and it look some searching online to finally decide on what they were. They are not native to UK, but seem to be getting more common due to escapes/releases from captivity in UK,. Belgium and Netherlands. There were about 20 or so in the gerdens, so an obviously fairly well-established group. https://www.naturespot.org/species/bar-headed-goose
