Taking a rest

A lovely sunny day but boy is it windy! 
Cold start but it has warmed up this afternoon :-)

Didn't sleep well last night & with it being very windy we decided to postpone our walk until tomorrow ~ 'because we can' now Hubby isn't at work!

Instead we decided to do some tidying in the garden.

We have cut back both dwarf Buddleia bushes .... the garden is looking better already!

There is new growth appearing in several of the tubs ...... Spring must have sprung!

Noticed this hoverfly on the Hellebore leaf .... it was enjoying the sunshine & having a bit of a clean .... blip sorted!

Looked online & think it may be a Tapered Drone Fly.
