Mrs B has placed this flower on the window sill of the kitchen, and the sun shines into that window mid-morning, lighting it from behind.

I was impressed with my mother (in Portugal) this morning: I called her to wish her Happy Mother's Day and she understood what I was talking about.  Her dementia is quite variable, but it's very rewarding when her brain works.
