Can you smell it?

Trev asked me today and I was just explaining that I only ever smelt it faintly when.... I moved on and got bursts of vanilla type scent. It was really powerful and continued as we walked along. I've never had that before. 
I know that some people think it smells of coconut. Perhaps there are different types? This seemed really strong to me but much less to Trev.
