Hurricane vase

My lovely friend Jess brought us this very thoughtful house warming gift for our lounge. It's a Hurricane Vase. You place a candle in it and the crackled gold paint inside the vase means that the light is scattered on the wall! It is beautiful and now has pride of place on our dining table. I love gifts like this, especially things that you like but would never buy for yourself!
