Uh-oh..!

This huge Hornet appeared in my bedroom last night & after I went to get a glass & card to capture it, I couldn't find it.. 

Cue big panic that it had got into my bedding, so the whole lot got shaken out & thrown on the floor & then, while I'm panicking about sleeping with it still loose, I notice it resting inside the light shade..

Some fancy moves later, it's safely trapped in the kitchen & after J next door assured me this morning, that it was one of the good guys, it was safely released...! 

Pretty mundane day after that excitement.. warm, though chilly wind, bit of gardening & a long sunny walk later on & 12,000 steps, yay..!!!
