Mothers

Slept really well and didn't miss the hour at all. It was a lovely day, so much better than yesterday, sunny. Filled the time before 11 by clearing up the moss/leaf piles on the path, a wee bit unpicking and getting changed.

Quick coffee at #13 then off to the Manor. #3 cave beating gifts; a card and home made rose flavoured macarons for Mothering Sunday andmy Christmas present (hand spreader for fertiliser etc). My birthday present, Lyceum, had arrived by email earlier.

We took a taxi. The driver was great getting Mum strapped in, then off to The Scholar, which took a bit of finding, my fault

The special lunch was amazing, so much food and Prosecco for the women. Wine was expensive. I passed on that. Setting didn't really fit the food and we would all have ditched the live music.

Took a wee while to get home as the first taxi didn't take wheelchairs (another error on my part) but we stood in the sun and watched a squirrel.

Got Mum home and then we all went out separate ways. During the meal there has been a voice note from the girls wishing us 'Happy Mother's Day's and photographs of the Hari Raya fireworks from #2 son. If thought it was tomorrow, but that's the public holiday.

I didn't do much once home. It was a bit too chilly to sit out. The time change has affected the Hive app. To get the right time setting I have to deduct a couple of hours. I hope it sorts itself. Explains why the heating came on before 9 this morning.

I finished the X-stitch butterfly (not my best work, watched some more 'Jusge Marianne's, enjoyed the extra hour of light in the front and are a couple of macarons. Delicious. I have such a clever son!
