Postcard from Christchurch

I had a early start as I had to be at the hospital at 8:30am for my check for my sinus operation. When I saw the doctor he told me that they will not do the operation now as in my last CT showed the infection wasn't as bad as it was and to keep using my spray. 

You would have thought they would have checked the scan out when it was done in the beginning of the year. The nurse asked me if I had a date as I was leaving. Even she thought it was going ahead. 

I had a two hour wait for John as he doesn't have a cellphone so I couldn't contact him. My walker was good but my left arm got very sore. It was good having a look around the city. 

I hope to get over to Akaroa tomorrow as they are delivering the new couch and stove on Wednesday.
