Lush evening to open my outside proper (ie putting my face in!) swimming year.
Still super cold. 5 degrees C.
Brain freeze from the off that stayed the whole swim.
On the upside, couldn't feel.my hands after 2 mins. 
Surprisingly OK swim though. Steady 1100m.
