Pillars of Pink…….

……. reflected in the waters of the Taylor River early this morning. The sky was totally obscured by clouds when I set out on my walk. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw bright reds low down in the eastern sky as I crossed the Beaver Road footbridge. A bonus was the appearance of pillars of pink light on the surface of the river. I have no idea from where they came.
Daughter Margaret left Blenheim early this afternoon . She was flying up to visit Granddaughter Emily in Auckland. The house is very quiet.
