Seriously?

Spring forward

Beautiful bright sunshiny day, super warm in sheltered sun but chilly in the cold air wind and shade - typical March in other words.  Rufus enjoyed his walk in the park as always, which was either later or earlier than usual in that the clocks went forward in the small hours so it's midday officially but body clocks said otherwise. Either way, many two, four and even six legged creatures were out and about in the park sampling the offerings of this Spring day - including this butterfly who clearly enjoys dandelions as much as Tortie does - and I gathered a sizable brunch to take back to her.

Gareth and I went for a Sunday roast "lunch" at the Gardeners at 15.00 the earliest available spot on a busy Mothering Sunday, but more significantly for us, the last day for two of the current working staff who we like very much as they move, with the landlord, to a new (still local) pub tomorrow.  During this meal we talked about the house I saw in Colchester yesterday, and its location, and at bro's suggestion, when we'd finished eating we drove to Colchester for him to see it (from he outside) and say hello to Graham and Kat who live nearby .....

A long, video call with Robin in Baku  when I got home - lots to catch up on since we last talked and some summer plans to be made - followed an evening with 'Death In Paradise' series 4 and much to think about.
