I’m down in MK for a couple of nights to see family and friends. A good journey except for nearly being squished as I passed a big lorry on a dual carriageway as he drifted into my lane. I braked and beeped and he corrected his position, then after passing him I saw in my rear view mirror that he then drifted off to the left and created lots of dust - I strongly suspect he was falling asleep. I can’t believe the amount of building and road alterations around the Black Cat Roundabout and around Papworth Everard - astonishing!

I was due to meet my friend L at Woburn, but the road was closed between Woburn Sands and Woburn Village. No warnings or detour, I suspect it was a sudden fix needed. So I rang her and we met near the canal and Willen Lake as I knew the way and L could find me. We had a lovely 3 hour walk and chat, and an ice cream and a drink as it was a very sunny and warm day at 20C. I do miss the park walks and canals and rivers.
