Music at the community hall

The day started with dropping Phin at daycare as we were heading up north to just outside Aberlour to stay with friends and enjoy some folk music and ended with me weaving off to bed around 1am!

Managed to get the washing basket emptied, contents washed and hung up in between packing and getting organised for our trip.

A pleasant lunchtime stop at House of Bruar where I managed to pick up a cute wee bird water bath as a gift for the friends we were staying with. Searched the sake shop too for a new jacket but no luck.

Arrived at Stuart and Linda’s house just after 4 and enjoyed catching up with them before two other friends also arrived. As Stuart is the chairman of their village hall committee, they often put up the bands but tonight’s act, Hamish Napier and Jordan Neil are both local lads they only joined us for dinner. Stuart is a fine cook and the pasta and meatballs were delicious.

Great music washed down with a few glasses of G&T, winning a box of chocolates in the raffle and helping with the tidying up at the end Brant we got back around 11.30 and sat up for a while chatting.
