Another day on the coast

The weather has been so good it would be a sin not to make the best use of it, especially after such a long long winter.
We went on the Norfolk Coast  Path again, a section we have walked many times before. However at one point instead of going straight on we turned right and went along the beach. This was Thornham Beach, a wide expanse of beautifully clean sand, a huge blue sky with white airplane trails and nearly empty. Not many people about as its a bit remote, salt marsh on one side, sea on the other and a river at the end, and a couple of miles from a car park. The tide had been quite high but was on the way out, the beach was much wider by the time we got to the river and turned to go home. We spent a couple of hours there just strolling and throwing a ball for Dudley. He had fun but was very tired by the time we got back to the car.
