Storm dinner: Chili and cheese-topped crackers

Storm Update:

At least we aren't in the areas where State-of-Emergency has been declared {Barrie, Orillia, Muskoka?}
... BUT ...
It's been pretty bad.

Mess here. We had 12hrs of ice pellets (3" deep) followed by 30hrs of freezing rain (20mm accretion). We will be working for days cleaning up the debris. No idea in the damage in the woods.

Sadly, the damage is widespread. Yesterday was an active tree destruction zone day - no exaggeration.

 360° sound of breaking tree limbs and the slow topple sound of big trees collapsing onto neighbouring trees. Some rugged rocky areas are still tree-entangled with the 2022 Derecho mess.

Power somehow held till 10:30pm Sunday, then outage since then. Expect power tomorrow.
