Mexican Jay
I spent some time in Madera Canyon this morning. My staycation begins 14 April and I'm really looking forward to it. Due to my prolonged illness last year, I was only able to spend five nights once, last spring. I really liked this shot of the Mexican Jay. There were a few species I saw but was unable to photograph, like a Scott's oriole, bridled titmouse, the tiny pine siskin and a red-naped sapsucker. That sapsucker should be long gone. Also saw, but didn't catch, three different species of hummingbirds.
Other than that trip to the mountains, I haven't done much. Having the camera around my neck irritated my upper back so I'm going to take a muscle relaxer and chill for a while, just watch the birdies in the yard nibbling on the oranges and nectar.

A Mobius strip walks into a bar crying. The bartender says: what's wrong buddy?
The Mobius strip replies:
Oh, where do I even begin?
