Elloughton Gardens

Today it was my turn to organise the afternoon for our small photography group. I live in the village that is part of the whole complex of Elloughton Village
In extras you will see a photo of the original homestead built in 1893 for William Grant from Scotland attached to a 1000 acre farm. In 1960 it became a home for the elderly. I got permission for us to take pics in the old part a fun exercise. The woodwork  and stained glass windows were exceptional. Beautiful intricate solid timber doors, they were so wide and tall, just awesome   I loved them
It now houses a home for the elderly and a hospital and I live in one of the 54 villas that surround it and run totally separately.
In extras you will see a pic of one of the beautiful fireplaces. unfortunately light is streaming across it.
