Some people know me so well!!!
This arrived through the post from a friend at the Hospice, they know me so well.
I do love to shop, was planning to go to Glasgow with my mum today to spend my birthday money, but my Nana had a hospital appointment so I went with my mum to help with my Nana. Her mobility is poor with arthritis and can't walk a great distance and our local hospital is very bad for parking so I met her at the front door and my mum parked the car. She agreed to going in a chair to get to out patients, and that is a huge thing to agree to. She usually refuses point blank to go in a chair. We sat and had a cuppa afterwards and spoke about age and health. She is 83yrs old and has never had an operation or serious illness. In general she us in good health, has early stages of vascular dementia which is causing her a great deal if emotional turmoil and distress.When she was forty she became a mother again (kid number 5) and a granny a few months later!!! My Nana ruled the house and was the one in charge, that has changed, she is changing and that's hard to watch.
