Acts of deliberate notice

Blacker

A rather rubbish work day today that put me in a bad mood, not helped by having a horrible cold and having slept badly.

But we're playing Find The Positives, so at least having a cold means I can work from home, and that means knitting time. The sun is shining. D is kindly making dinner while I am low on spoons. We have an electric shower (the greatest invention of mankind). There is more light now. I am reading a book by my favourite author. There are birds and butterflies and clouds and all good things.

No matter how bad your mood, there are always small pleasures.
