A day tackling some invasive weeds. Their roots creep along underground and unseen throwing up leaves every so often. These leaves and stalks send their own roots off on their underground journey which throw up their own leaves and stalks … and so it goes on. Until a gardener intervenes and clears it all up. But the gardener always leaves some root behind which, in due course, will start its own underground journey. That’s gardening for you!!
