St Ives with Barbara

Due to ongoing lurgy the walking holiday has turned into a busman’s holiday! Yesterday was Lands End the tackiest town in the UK, I’m just glad I didnae walk or cycle there only to be charged £10 to get a photograph taken beside a fake road sign. St Ives was much nicer today, a beautiful old fishing village now bursting at the seams with trendy cafes and Cornish pasties. Barbara Hepworths house and garden are worth a visit and the beaches are stunning…even if the wind took away what breath I had left.
