Daffodils
We collected the fourth member of our group from the port, ate foraged-three-cornered-leek soup with toast for lunch then went for a walk round St Mary's. We walked past daffodil fields, even this late in the year; visited the Bronze Age burial chamber at Bant's Carn near the abandoned village of Halangy (extra 1); and watched waves like hammocks (extra 2).
The light reflecting from the sea was completely glorious.
My personal thanksgiving for sight.
