A great wee road

An unusual working day for me, driving down to Hawick for a visit with a local organisation and MSP.

To avoid some hold ups on the bigger roads, the sat nav took me an interesting route, through Moffat and across the farm land. As my Dad might say, on some great wee roads.

A few sheep, the odd bemused tourist in a camper van, lovely views. And at one point a farmer who flagged me down to advise caution round the next corner, where I found half a herd of cattle, looking at me like it was me that was out of place. Perhaps they were right.

Overall, a nice trip, including the visit and meeting later.
