Ferry trip

Headed west with my pal for a day in the hills. First hill a cracker first up through the forest then onto open hillside. We headed to high ground to get on undulating ridge. We were rewarded as a golden eagle took off just under us and effortlessly headed south to our summit.

A wee drive to next hill a wee 600m hill, good reccy before and we spotted a decent way through the collar of trees.  Damp and muddy we came out of the trees to a cracking craggy t summit, which we sat at and admired our views.

A third hill was cancelled as we were spent and even drinking loads dehydrated.

Decided on ferry to mainland home and m8 home.

Dropped pal off , got home and no keys, my pal had packed my trousers in his rucksack.

Shower and hydrated headed to pals to be kindly fed and trousers and keys retrieved.

Dogs walked with head torch in field, local foxes showing interest.
