Time warp

It is just under a fortnight before the new series of Dr
Who starts. However today it felt as if we had travelled forward in time, skipping Spring and enjoying Summer.

Mid afternoon the car was registering over 25oC as it sat baking in the sun. It was still over 20oC as I drove around. With minimal wind the air was warm and it was a pleasure to be outside.

The magnolia in the front garden is also ahead of itself this year. I even watered the garden as the sunshine looks to last for a few more days, albeit that the temperature will drop. So a BBQ this evening!
