Happy first of April
Oh, to be in England
Now that April's there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England - now!
Home thoughts from Abroad by Robert Browning.
A very busy day:
first a walk to the doctors to have out covid jab
Then Grocery shopping at Tesco and Lidl
Putting all the Fridge shopping away
Followed by walking Tanzy
Then lunch, while watching TV during which I fell asleep
Then putting the rest of the shopping away.
I was tired this afternoon though.
Misty had just given a big yawn but I didn't catch it I just got her with her tongue out.
Tanzy hasn't been well she has had a dose of the runs, but I kept her food free yesterday and only fed her small amounts today, She seems settled now. Although not much appetite, I have got some fish for her for tomorrow.
On Sunday night she was getting Paula up every hour to let her out, poor Paula was shattered on Monday. Monday night it was only twice. Me both times
That's it, lets hope April gets a bit warmer, and helps us keep down the heating bills.
