Bromeliade Bloissom

This plant began as a cutting from misswinterfinch’s plant. She kindly offered cuttings from her plant, and I accepted. I now have a giant Bromelliade that blossoms beautifully in the spring. 
The extra is of our midnight marauder—hats off to cindy_ellis for correctly identifying our intruder. It is, indeed, a raccoon. My husband is scouring the internet for solutions to outsmart it.
