Daisy, daisy …

An appointment this morning tge other side of Reading, next to IKEA.  
It was for a number of MRI scans and other health checks/questionnaires. I’m a member of the UK Biobank, and I was invited to take part in their imaging study.  This was a 4-5 hour appointment.

I had:
MRI of brain and took a test whilst being scanned;
ECG and scan of both carotid arteries;
Dexa scan of body, then knees and hips;
MRI heart scan and abdomen;
General recap of health, medication etc and taking vital statistic measurements. 
Finally, answering 300 question (including a hearing check and cognition section)
Arrived just after 9:30 and left at 13:45.  
I don’t get to know any of the results as these are for their study, however if they believe something should be responded to they will contact me and my GP.

I needed retail therapy after that - lovely walk around IKEA, wasn’t going in for much but somehow spent a bit.  Love tge decorations in an arch between areas (see extra).
