Are diamonds a girls best friend... ?

On the 21st we celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary, looking back can say its had its challenges but at no time did we ever think it wouldn't work nor did we go our separate ways...

The Bride always wanted a nice solitaire for an engagement ring all those years ago, but as most couples in the late 80's and early 90's we were skint and a decent diamond was as expensive as a car... but less practical for dropping the rubbish to the tip !

Went shopping yesterday and picked up this nice little number, a couple of carats and the boss man will drop it on to a platty band...

Should still be a surprise as she doesn't Blip or Tweet...

I think she will be happy, I am it was a good chance to try a macro lens that the children bought me... result is ok but need to practice more I think...
