Braunton Burrows, North Devon.
A local treasure. It might not be the largest in the UK. It is part of the UNESCO-designated North Devon Biosphere Reserve. Covering an area of over 3,000hectares. Known for a wide range of plant, insect and animal life. It was a training area during the Second World War for the D-Day landings. And continues today to be used for exercises. A great place for a walk.
This morning was a Zoom Interval class. Weather is still holding and getting a bit warmer, in as much I am sat here with a short sleeve top on. First day with out a jumper. It is still very windy, and there are showers in tomorrows forecast. We could do with some, as long as It knows when to stop!
