Back in operation

The left hand two compost bins have chipped wood in them and are alternated every couple of years.
Strangely the little bugs and the bacteria don’t make any distinction between the wood sides of the bin and the chippings within and despite pressure treated timber they eventually prevail.
Bought some new gravel boards and selected the best of the original slats to make new bins.
Will keep them in use for another few years…..
