Lisbon Tram Tour

At last we have arrived in Lisbon!  This morning we woke up to rain and chilly temperatures, but by the time we disembarked for our excursion this afternoon, the sun was out, the sky was blue, and it was about as perfect as you could wish for, so we felt very fortunate!

We took a very interesting tour of the city aboard a vintage tram, complete with being served two of Portugal's most famous products -- Port wine and a delicious Pasteis de Nata, a sweet, custardy pastry.  We climbed up and down many of Lisbon's hilly streets, admiring the architecture, statues, churches, and squares before arriving at the Lisbon Cathedral where we disembarked and toured this historic building before walking a bit through the streets, and finally returning to the ship.
