Chaffinch

It's been a lovely sunny day again here today, its also been pretty windy, but by late afternoon the coldness of the wind seemed to have lost its impact.  This is just a low level shot of a chaffinch cleaning up under the bird feeders.

Cathy has gone away today with for a stay in a spa hotel with some of her friends for the next few days so I've been pottering around at home making bread, dealing with shopping,  laundry and cooking.  I sat down in the conservatory somewhere after 4pm and the next thing I knew it was gone 5:30pm - I'd fallen asleep.  It is a little bit embarrassing as I was supposed to be in on a Zoom call which I will need to apologise for missing.
