They’re Here!!

I got MrsP up and out for breakfast at the diner. Always yummy and good to catchup with the waitstaff as we haven’t been for awhile • After a couple of quick errands we stopped off at the house to grab the camera and binoculars and headed to the river for a walk. It was sunny and cold but not as windy as yesterday. It certainly feels like snow with 4” coming tonight and tomorrow. HumBug!! • To our surprise and delight a large flock of tree swallows were feeding near the boardwalk. They are so quick as they dip and turn and dive just inches off the water. Then, suddenly, they swarm together up in the air and fly off, only to return minutes later. Such fascinating birds! • They will stay here through breeding season before heading south in August • Peace & Love
