2025 Sunday — Looking North on Hwy 1

This is our view as we drove north from Morro Bay after church this morning headed for home in Cayucos (ky-u-cuss). That’s Point Estero on the end of the land and this great big bay, which we think of as a miniature of Monterey Bay, is called Estero Bay.

Midway along that ridge of land is another section of land that forms a point, but we have to be above it to see the point; it’s called Point Cayucos. The geography here really is quite beautiful.

This morning at church our music director’s husband preached because our Pastor has just started spring break with his family, so they are in Hawaii. Ed’s message (sermon) from the New Testament book of Acts was quite good.
