Owls

My younger daughter and I had our first visit to the Scottish Owl Centre today in Polkemmet Country Park. There are so many beautiful birds there and we loved seeing them all and meeting a couple of individuals at the ‘meet the birds’ talks. Some of the birds are native rescue animals but most are there as part of captive breeding programmes to keep species from all over the world alive where they are sadly at risk of going extinct because their native habitats are being destroyed.
