Green fingers...

My favourite tree in our garden is the Japanese maple and vying for first place in my favourite shrubs list is the Japanese paper plant.  Perhaps I should cultivate a Japanese garden (in my dreams.  I don't have a single green finger to my name and have been known to kill cacti!)

Nothing much to note about today other than Alan headed off out full of the joys because he had shorts on.  I swear he was a postman in a previous life! D played golf with his Wednesday group and Lauren popped in to do my nails.  I've gone with a nice spring colour, a peachy nude called Escape (noting that as I'll probably ask for it again :-)

Other than that I have menu planned for the weekend, completed two items of the crochet project I mentioned yesterday.  Delighted with them and will blip them at some point.  They make me laugh :-) and taken delivery of the new rug for the Gin Palace.  Once it's down it will be ready for the Grand Opening Summer 2025 :-))

Oh and news from the repair shop of my external hard drive.  It is indeed totally gubbed (technical term ;-))  Thankfully they could access the data and it is currently being transferred onto a new drive.  It should be ready to collect by Friday.  Phew!  

And now to complete my Tesco online order.  That means it's Wednesday! :-))
