Pond restoration

My ambition for this weekend to reline my garden pond which has started leaking badly. Today was stage 1 - empty and clear. It felt awfully like I was running Mogden STW for those following the Thames saga, as I dealt with mountains of sludge and slurry and wondered where to dispose of it all. But at least it wasn’t raining. Then a super afternoon break for a talk on Roman pottery in the Nene valley - see extra.
