A cold start to the day

Every night we get a dusting of snow. You can see the kitty sitting on the front step. She likes to hang out under the car and has to run when I start it up. 
My big accomplishment for the day is scheduling my knee procedure for August 11th. I just wanted it set down on the calendar. It is outpatient so it shouldn't be too bad to recover from. They need to trim up my torn meniscus. I'll be happy when it doesn't ache at night.
