Tower of Light

Another busy day, but I’d slept well last night so felt all the better for it.

Gym first, then a bit of grocery shopping, which included grass seed…… a job for another day!

Home for a quick sandwich lunch, then an outfit change and into the car for a meeting in Manchester at 2.30pm

It’s been another crystal clear blue sky day, but that chilly wind persists, although it was 17c if you could get out of the wind .

I left the meeting just on 4pm, where I spied this rather attractive white tower….. I’d not noticed it before, not sure how long it’s been erected, almost it’s facing the Bridgewater Hall.

Having googled, I learned it’s called the Tower of Light & its purpose is as a symbolic & a practical function, aiming to provide a more sustainable heat and power system to the city's landmarks.

You learn something new every day :-D
