Not a cloud in the sky
It has been a truly remarkable day with endless blue sky and sunshine. For his morning walk, I decided to take Bertie down the track to Kildavie where we had wonderfully clear views to the north, not even a hint of cloud over Rum or the Cuillin Hills of Skye. From the south a skein of at least fifty geese approached and flew overhead, several hundred feet above us, the sun catching their wings so that they appeared to sparkle as they moved. It was a wonderful sight!
I spent several happy hours in the garden and achieved more than I expected, although it meant that our evening meal was a little later than usual.
