A long day

I had an MRI this morning, so that involved 16 hours between meals and I was pretty hungry and tired when I got back home.  I started on my re-application for UW financial assistance, as well as a new one for Swedish, where Dr. Tekeste works. I was sailing along when I realized that the new financial statements I'd written up were nowhere to be found on my computer.  I ran into this problem last year, because Windows 11 has decided that there should be a "Personal" folder into which all my other folders are now held - and I cannot access those documents because I can't figure out how to save them where I can get to them.  I finally put it all aside for another time.

On my way back from the mailroom I walked down the third floor and found this pretty doorway vignette.  Friday I'm hoping to get some flower photos on the terrace and maybe get a haircut if I can just remember to make the appointment.

Bravo to Cory Booker, a man I have long admired, for having the guts and stamina to stand on the Senate floor for 25 hours berating the Trump government.  And I am so pleased that the people of Wisconsin had the good sense to ignore Elon Musk and his multi-millions.  I was thinking that perhaps we should start a movement to get him deported...
