I see the sea

Slow progress on one particular narrow window. The obvious way to do it would be with a ladder but we don’t have one. So although I’ve scritched all the loose paint off through the slats painting the front of it stretching round with my left hand is slow slow work.
Still, did the balcony doors and surrounds which wasn’t part of my original plan. And took a brief trip out in the car to buy ceiling paint.
Talking of cars, I see Trump, fresh from the successes of his Middle East and Ukrainian peace initiatives, has slapped tariffs on ours! Yes, apparently we do still make them.
And the EU got hit even harder - von der Leyen said "I know that many of you feel let down by our oldest ally.”
Oldest Ally? Ha, there’s irony - if the bloody Europeans hadn’t sided with the rebels in 1770whatever none of this would have happened! Consequences!!
